Our approach

Donostia Studio is a network of freelancers, companies, agencies and professionals who come together to collaborate on a project. Being a network and not a company or a firm allows us, above all, to have an agile working practice but also to share knowledge, know-how and methodologies, orienting the entire implementation towards the best success of the project for and with our customers.

Being a network allows us to focus on our customers, on the project to be implemented, and not on ourselves. Communication is important to us.

Customer relates to a contact person for the project – the ‘project manager’ – but in the course of its development he/she will get to know all the professionals in the team who are working on each phase, both in terms of design and implementation. This is why we prefer to say that we collaborate with our customers in the realization of a project and not simply that we offer services.
Our customers become part of the Donostia Studio team and Donostia Studio becomes part of the team that contacts us to carry out the project. This collaborative methodology allows us to meet everyone’s needs because sustainability is at the heart of our approach.

For us, sustainability is not only about the environment but also about work.

By this we mean a number of things, and here below are the ones we consider most important:

• Sustainability towards the natural environment
  We choose solutions that have the least possible impact on the Planet’s resources (e.g. carbon footprint, printing as little as possible, using low energy but professionals technologies, etc.);
• Sustainability with regard to work
  Being a network allows us not to exploit anyone’s work. Each professional who collaborates on the project follows each phase, from the commercial phase to the design phase to the production phase. This is why we carefully select the projects we collaborate with: they are those in which a mutual understanding between us and the client of the quality and quantity of the work to be carried out, of the time and resources to be invested is central. This way we will all be happy.
• Sustainability in relations
  We have an ethical and political approach to what we do. We have an ecosystem approach. That is why we do not collaborate with racist, fascist, sexist and extractive projects. Starting from 2022, we have chosen to indicate on our invoices the percent we will undertake to donate to an NGO that works to overcome extrativism.
